Atalla

1994

was born here in April of 1994. At the age of 6 weeks old she and her brother Lakota went off to start their lives in a new home. Just before they reached a year old their new owner had a personal crisis and had to return them to us. This was one of those events in life that you dont realize was fate until you can look back on it. Atalla was meant to stay with us. She has been a wonderful friend that we have had many adventures with over the years. She has not only been a friend, family member and companion but also a work partner. She took to working in front of the camera like a natural. Because of her classic color she was requested as a model for photography and art more often than some of our other animals. This also allowed her to really serve as an ambassador to many people. In addition to being a model, Atalla has played a huge part in many educational programs that have been attended by thousands of people.
